The Specials Ltd bring their Gangsters Tour 2027 to Bootleg Social in Blackpool on Friday 19 February 2027, for a night of 2-Tone ska from one of the best-loved bands of the late 70s and early 80s.
Billed as the most authentic tribute to 2-Tone legends The Specials, the band named the tour after “Gangsters”, The Specials’ debut single and the record that launched the 2 Tone sound. Expect classics and fan favourites like Gangsters, A Message to You Rudy, Too Much Too Young, Rat Race, Do Nothing, Stereotype, Monkey Man and Do the Dog.
Bootleg Social is an alternative music bar and venue on Topping Street in the town centre, a short walk from Blackpool Tower. It’s a roomy venue that still feels close-up when a band is on, with a proper dance floor, which suits a set built for skanking.

There are plenty of restaurants within a few minutes’ walk. Aim to sit down at least 90 minutes before curtain up, and book ahead on Saturdays and during the Illuminations, when the town gets busy.
