Stevie Wonder to headline 2025 Lytham Festival

Stevie Wonder, the legendary singer-songwriter, has been named as the headliner for Lancashire’s Lytham Festival.

The legendary musician will play on July 3, the day after US rock band Kings of Leon start the event.

Lytham Festival co-founder Peter Taylor stated, “He’s a global icon, a superstar, and getting him to come to Lytham is a coup for us, and we’re very proud.”

Justin Timberlake, Alanis Morissette, Simple Minds, and Texas will all play at the Lytham Green festival from July 2 to 6.

Mr Taylor stated, “He’s a proper musician, and his massive set is three hours long.”

“It’s been 15 years in the making; I met him in LA eight years ago and we talked, but the stars hadn’t aligned until now.

“We’ve had over 100,000 people attend the event recently, so Lytham is clearly on the map.

“It’s great for the town and for tourism.”

Past headliners have included Shania Twain, Lionel Ritchie, Kylie Minogue, Diana Ross, Sting, and Lewis Capaldi.
